Rolling screw drives that convert rotary motion into linear motion with high efficiency, precision and positioning repeatability.
In a ball screw, balls roll between the screw thread and the nut and circulate in a closed loop. This gives the drive high efficiency, low friction and very little wear compared with a trapezoidal lead screw.
We offer rolled and ground screws in various accuracy classes, with single or preloaded nuts. We machine the journals to the customer’s drawing and supply complete assemblies with bearing supports.

A ball screw assembly is a mechanism that uses ball bearings as rolling elements to convert rotary motion into linear motion, or vice versa. In practice, the requirements for these assemblies – as well as their available configurations – are highly diverse.
Advantages of ball screw assemblies:
We offer ball screw assemblies manufactured via whirling (hard whirling technology), grinding, and rolling; these products are characterized by tight lead tolerances and excellent surface quality.
Our nut designs comply with the DIN 69051 standard; we also fulfill orders for custom configurations tailored to specific client requirements.
Every assembly undergoes a thorough inspection and is supplied with a quality test report.
Ball Screw Assembly Range
Material
Ball screw assemblies are manufactured using high-quality materials sourced from Europe. Standard materials include:
What a ball screw consists of and what determines its operating parameters.
Shaft with a rolled or ground thread.
Flanged or cylindrical, with ball recirculation.
Rolling instead of sliding friction – high efficiency.
End machining for fixed and floating bearing arrangements.
Indicative overview – the final choice depends on the application parameters.
| Feature | Rolled | Ground |
|---|---|---|
| Lead accuracy | standard | high |
| Cost | lower | higher |
| Lengths | long sections | to order |
| Typical use | automation, handling | machine tools, precision positioning |

A ball screw offers much higher efficiency, service life and precision. A trapezoidal screw is cheaper and self-locking, and works well at low speeds.
Yes – to the customer’s drawing or with standard ends for bearing supports.
Based on the required linear speed, motor speed and the positioning resolution needed.
